Reopening for Worship During Covid-19

We have developed the following protocols to create a safe environment where you and your family can come to worship God at AMC.

Precaution: Anyone feeling sick, or with a cough, fever, sniffles, or other underlying health issues, should stay home and consider joining us on ZOOM or listening to each Sunday’s message on AMC’s website.

What we are doing to keep you safe:

Our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. Other activities are cancelled.

All hard surfaces are cleaned and disinfected after every meeting.

A greeter opens the doors for people as they enter.

Face masks are required for everyone except small children and persons with medical conditions that preclude wearing a mask.

Every-other row of seats is closed to enable proper social distancing.

After each service, people are dismissed row-by-row.

Hand Sanitizer is available throughout the church.

What you can do to keep everyone safe:

Wear a face mask whenever you are in the building.

Maintain a 6-foot distance from others.

When you arrive, please go directly to the sanctuary.

Families with children should sit together.

Smiles are encouraged - handshakes and hugs are “No no’s!

After using restrooms, wash hands and sanitize.

After services, exit the building and maintain social distancing.

Created For Him

“For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:16-17

His Kingdom, Now.

The gospel is ultimately about humanity being restored to God’s community. Only through practicing community will individuals grow fully in the grace and knowledge to be found in Jesus. Furthermore, it is through community that a fragmented world can best witness the power of the gospel and the nature of God’s work. As a culture of confession, transformation, friendship, forgiveness, justice, power, and love springs up in the lives of normal people, those who don’t know Christ will be compelled to ask what is happening.

Our Vision

Our vision is to be a church of grace-filled people, empowered for community transformation and new church formation, so that the Gospel is faithfully transferred from person to person and generation to generation. As Jesus Christ works in and through us to fulfill our mission and pursue our vision, we expect to see results in three areas: Community Transformation,  Church Growth , Next Generation Empowerment.
